What kind of problems happen after 75K and 100K Miles

Was thinking about purchasing a used HHR LT with about 80K was wondering what kind of problems are popping after 80K and 100K miles? Any major repairs?

OK, so the forum is acting up this morning, but I've moved your question out here to the General section for more exposure.

If you haven't seen whopper's common problems thread, give it a look here...

As a "High Mile" owner myself, there are no huge issues that pop up with the mileage you're looking at, mostly it's just normal maintenance items.

Brakes, shocks, struts and strut mounts, bushings, etc.

After 124,000 miles of ownership (06 LT w a 2.4L) other than routine maintenance, I've had no issues, but I do maintain the car. Transmission flush at 50K and 92K, brakes at 92K, shocks and struts at 60K, a battery at 80K and oil changes when the DIC oil life monitor gets to 20%. I'm on the third set of tires and get alignment every couple of years.

Aside from the key stuck in ignition when the car was new and fixed under warranty I've had no issues.

All depends on how the car was maintained and driven by the previous owner.

An apology to chevyss, Boydie, and firemangeorge.

Our humble forum suffered a malfunction/hiccup/nervous breakdown while consolidating chevyss's threads. All attempts to retrieve the lost posts failed, it doesn't happen often, but sometimes computers have minds of their own.

So please accept my apology on behalf of the forum.
