I think Erica Tiffany may have meant "may" instead of "must". But, if she is the official voice of GM make a copy of your correspondence.

Remember, anything you read or receive on the internet is true, take it to the bank. There is this guy in Africa that will send you $3 million if you just send him a couple $thousand.
I sincerely hope you are not minimizing death.

I don't care if it was all 16 year olds and 90 year olds... death is death.

Yes--I don't know who Tiffany really is, but I do know you can believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet--LOL

Did a bit of housekeeping, removed "I got my letter today" posts, and things that had become redundant.....four pages worth.

Took some poking about, but here's an article showing the X-Rays of a "known bad" vs. a "known good" switch.

Yep. That's the ones I saw.
In fact, I think it's the same article I read.

Just some thoughts on whats going on with the GM recalls and possibly more to come.

Is GM and there Dealers really prepared for this Onslaught of repairs/parts replacements ??

Do they even have enough parts in the system now to do the repairs needed in view of the Statements they are putting out claiming you "Shouldn't even drive the cars" till they are repaired under the ReCall ???
Will they be putting a priority system in place just to deal with this ??

SF

I had to move that posting Donbrew - it originally was on the thread that announced the GM recall forum. And I closed that announcement posting to prevent other 'stuff' from gathering there. :)

I just looked at that x-ray post, and noted the repair part is longer to possibly fix the issue as it is thought the short spring and pin cause the problem, vague and Don I'm still waiting for my Uncle in Africa to transfer those 10 million dollars into my account!! 4 years and 7 months now, but I keep a happy song in my heart!!
