GM ignition switch settlement

I'm not really sure who this group of lawyers is actually trying to sue... "Old GM" doesn't exist and "New GM" is an LLC. Last I heard you can't pull a class action on an LLC...

I got a postcard like this , several years ago about using UPS for shipping from Canada to USA locations, a class action deal, I got a cheque 2 years later as a settlement, I don’t remember the exact amount but it was under $50.00.

First - thank you to everyone who replied and offered info on how to proceed.
Second - apologies for taking so long to update my post.
I confirmed that the recall work was completed by an authorized Chevy dealer. I've submitted my claim.
Thanks again for the replies.

What claim? Why did you need to know if it was performed, the class action has nothing to do with that. What's your rush, the court is not going to consider anything until after December 18, 2020, that is the hearing date, the deadline to register is "no earlier than March 18,2021" could change to a lot later, that is not the payout date.
Why do we need this thread at all? All of the relevant information is contained in the other thread of nearly the same name, as was pointed out in #2.
For all of you that only read the last post of large threads:

The class action is about resale value of a car that had a bungled recall. Not anything to do with any individual car that did or did not have the recall work performed OR if the car was actually resold or not. Yes, it does apply to all subsequent owners. Everyone that has ever owned an HHR will have a post card mailed to the address that the car was titled to. The post card has a unique number on it that you use to register on the CA website (no need to remember your old VIN). If you don't get a postcard by March 2021 there is an address provided to register.
The fund is $121.1 million. The lawyers usually get somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the fund. Don't expect a big payday.
