All cars are built as disposable . . . America wants their stuff cheap and disposable, why do you think small appliances are not made here? Clothes? Electronics?

If our govenment would treat American Manufacturers with the same incentives as the Foreign Manufactures things would be way different here . . .

Foreign car are made to last? . . BS . . . Toyota had the worlds WORST recall record on their cars and trucks. . . Quality? I think not. My business partner has a 2007 Camry and that is a POS, it has been in the shop more times than I care to count, and parts have literally fallen off the car . . . . quality . . Tundra's cam shafts break! The tail gate will fold in half if you put a load on it . . . Built to last? HA HA!

And BTW my:

2008 HHR SS, with 3,XXX miles on it has been flawless . .
2006 STS V, with 16,XXX miles has never been to the shop . . .
2006 GTO, with 17,XXX miles never went to the shop
2004 Silverado HD with 70,XXX miles has been in 2 times
2002 Camaro SS in the shop 2 times . . .
2000 Camaro SS never in the shop . . .

You sir ARE the epitome of why American companys are in trouble . . . a small indiscrete problem arises and you want what ever it is replaced . . . . Oh boo hoo, a sensor went bad . . . boo hoo, the window motor stopped working . . .WHO BUILT THE DAMDED PARTS??? Most likely China . . .
First of all, I couldn't care less which is better foreign or domestic. Alot of Toyota's are made here in the states anyway. If I wanna (admin edit) about GM, then its my right. As you can see I bought a Chevy as I usually do 80% of the time, not a Jap manufacturer. American companies are in trouble due to our crooked government and ****ty economy, not the consumers that complain about quality. Oh and XSTA Z 28, I'm formally inviting you to go(admin edit)

I'm close to 13,000 miles on my SS that was delivered in January with no issues whatsoever. It is simply the greatest economy car ever made.
