Boost gauge still available from Gm

GMPartgiant.com has new pillar boost gauge for $50. Got mine in the mail today. Pn 25913085 for. Psi.
never seen any on eBay. And cobalts only go to 15psi and are expense used.

That is for the gauge only, correct ?
Not many owners looking for just the gauge. Lots of folks with the RPD unit were looking to add the complete pillar, gauge, tweeter combo.

Thats right gauge only.


I thought the RPD is cool but hear the car wont run without it because its tied into the CAN bus sensors?
So if it dies so does your car?

I have heard contradictory stories about the RPD; some say the wiring is there just waiting to be plugged in, others say the car won't run if you remove it.

I would think the RPD would only be plug and play on upper level models. On my base panel, the only thing behind the dash was wiring for the fog light hookup - and even that didn't go all the way into the engine compartment.
