Door Lock Issue

Or, wait till a really bored cop wanders by your car and gives you a moving violation. It happened to me while I was standing next to the car at a loading dock.

When the battery gets low enough the security system activates and locks the doors.

I guess you mean the car battery, and not the battery in the key fob ?

If the car battery drops below 12.3 volts it’s a problem. It usually means a dead cell , it happened to me

Thanks very much. I will keep an eye on that. Had a new key made and it is in my wallet now. The drivers door had to be replaced at one time and when you stop and put the vehicle in park all doors unlock but the driver door unlocks only about half way sometimes and I have to pull the lock up all the way, this could be a problem also. Have a good day.
