Aftermarket parts are(for the most part) personal preference. I am choosing not to purchase any of Hahn's stuff because of 2 reasons.
1 - Cost, compared to other companies Hahn is alot more expensive.
2 - When I joined this forum last year there was Hahn and ADM. Both of them promised big things for us in the future. Both of them left us for other platforms. Hahn focused everything on the Cobalts and just kinda blew us off. ADM made some stuff for us until the new Camaro came out and now you don't see Andy anymore either. I believe that Hahn has come back to us because the Cobalt community is not very receptive to him anymore.

These are my opinions and if you don't like them or agree with them, tough dookie. Buy what you want from who you want, it's your money. But most importantly, enjoy what you get.

It also all depends what kind of dyno ur on. I had a guy dyno hiss HHR with just a stage kit and dynod at 254hp right before me and I with bolt ons and stage kit dynod at 283hp

And as far as HAHN goes i wont buy anything from him. I was talking to him when i first got my car we wrote up a quote and everything and when i was ready he told me that he never gave me the price i said until i sent him back the email i got from him with all the pricing. So yeah i say NO THANKS to shady business

O.K. Guys! How long is this thread going to get, *****ing-Pissing and Moaning.
Seems we have different views on what is and whats not, and to Hahn, dyno numbers and other stuff.
Nothing is written in stone, even tho some see it that way, when it comes to numbers[read-H.P. and torque], and personal opinions about Hahn.
Buy what you want, from who you want, and take your chances, just like everyone else. Yes folks, HELLO, there are some suppliers that think nothing about sticking it in you, and will gladly take your $, and send you on the wrong road home. Do your homework on parts, tunes, ect. and just maybe you'll get what you wanted.
And yes, their are some that "fell in love" with their parts, and will try and justify their supplier, and what they paid, for at all costs. I call it "Smooving the groove"[I'm sure you get my meaning].
So, lets cut the B.S. on this subject, and move on to better things.
And more gab, on this thread, and I'm going "Toss my cookies".

My goodness! Would you be so kind as to add some specifics regarding the "shady business" reference?

We've certainly had a tough year, what with the slumped economy and my lengthy sabbatical away from home to take care of my late father. Yes, certainly some sales have fallen through the cracks, but that doesn't turn a 21-year old enterprise "shady" overnight

Wow. In my absence, some clearly mistaken perceptions have taken root. Folks, it's really important that you get information about my business from the source, as rumors can be very misleading.

First off...my absence was due to a months-long break to take care of a terminally ill parent, and was far from a "blow-off".

Secondly...our standing in the Cobalt community may have taken some dents due to my sabbatical this year, but it remains stronger than you appear to realize. It has NOT caused us to come back here to suck up scraps. Sure, you'd perhaps not know this from the nasty net-invective that's taken on a life of its own during my forum absence, but basing all of one's impressions upon what the most vocal forum members say can be an isolated and very flawed approach

Lest this chicanery chase off the ONLY company who has supported Ecotec since its inception in this country (Hahn RaceCraft), I'd suggest those who'd like to keep taking potshots at us chill for a bit. Let me provide some explanations and insights that are factual, and not rumor-based. You're not doing your HHR friends any "consumer-protection" favors by kicking a good vendor when he's down.

Your HHR market needs good vendors. While we've been delayed by horrific circumstances beyond our control this year, we'd like to pick up where we left off. I'd like to be afforded the benefit of the doubt while we dust ourselves off and take on this challenge. I think we've earned at least that much.

Bill-
I am Sure you realize that you have a dedicated following that truly appreciates the quality products and great technical support you have always delivered. We are all quite aware of the random comments that get made by those emboldened by the semi-anonymous shelter offered by internet forums. No one really takes any of this too seriously, and with any common sense with a rather large grain of salt. Given the size of the market, and the engineering and fabrication skills involved in producing your products, I feel that they are a very good value, and certainly the quality is unarguably exceptional.

Bill, I hope that your company continues to make quality parts for our little slice of heaven. I also hope you update your site so that it is easier to link parts to cars. It would be more user friendly if you didn't have to search through all parts. As to the negative comments I would hope you know that this Super Sport owner reads carefully and understands there is always unhappy people out there. I really do hope more companies get into the parts game for the SS. Competition breeds greatness.
