Want to update and give a shout out to 350ss who provided me a link to the Chevy Cobalt forum. It has a thread showing how to bypass the performance display. It is just a matter of jumping the two sets of brown and brown with black stripe wires together. My HHR is now running with the fix and I installed a glove box in place of the performance display. Thanks again 350ss and everyone who took the time to give advice.
