HHr SS Electrical Problems Growing
There is a black wire and a small red wire that attach to the top starter post, which I believe leads up to the fuse box post where I have a big red and big black wire. I have no other loose wires around as I've taken everything apart several times. I looked at the post wiring on my LT and it also has a big red and big black wire for the fuse box post, neither have 2 black wires (or 2 red) for the post
There is only a small red wire for the EPS, there is no black wire. In my first photo the wire thats frayed out of the loom is the EPS wire, detached.
I understand the wires for the fuse terminal and what wire is the EPS. What I don't understand is if theres a short, if theres a ground thats improper, or anything else it could be. If theres a fuse-able link
somewhere near the starter (from what I've read) then what would the sequential errors that would occur be? If its a clutch position sensor thats doing who know what, I guess not what its supposed to,
what would the following symptoms be? When the starter was only clicking once, I cleaned all the wires in the above pictures. Since, I had no communication with the code reader, and only one relay (I
believe wiper) clicking, no starter click. Now I have communication again, no codes, but no attempts to start. The fuel pump now primes in accessory and as the key is turned (actively turned). Sometimes,
doesn't prime in accessory until I actively turn the key. Was priming once before in accessory when starter click was apparent, never priming twice. Could this follow to the root of the problem, or is it just a
side effect of another problem, or is it normal?

My HHR is an SS, some wires may be different as my LT has 1 wire below fuse box but beside strut (posted above). The SS has 2, so some wires may be different, but as for the EPS and other post, my LT and SS are the same (same with starter)
Going back to the beginning I forgot to mention something. I haven't done anything but put the car together and it started the first time. The second time I stalled it on a lift, I forgot in 2 years that I can't just pull out the clutch, so I stalled it. Since the stall it won't start, the following problems are because of what I did with cleaning wires etc. I read about an emergency fuel shut off in case of accidents or sudden stalls, but the engine should still crank if thats the case?
