i think they all say that to get you in the door lol. my wifes 04 corolla, which we traded for the hhr ss,was getting 35 to the gallon. without getting the prius or yaris, the collrolla is the only car that's above 30. the camery and other yota cars run neck and neck with everyone else.

But the irony right there . . . the Fed EPA does the fuel economy ratings every year . . .

Out of the Top Ten Fuel Efficent Car Manufacturers . . . Mini #1, Honda #2 Chevy #3 . . . and where is Toyota? #10 . . . LOL . . . .

I can't believe how sensitive some of you are about this thread and my opinions, it's like I stole your g'friend from you. I agree thay everyone has a right to their opinion and maybe mine comes across a little too strong. I fully support everyone being passionate about their cars and beliefs, but the backlash doesn't seem to be stemming from me having an opinion, just that my opinion is different from other points of view. It's easy to tell me to fu*& off or go to a Toyota Forum b/c someone doesn't want me "trolling." But that is not what this is about, I simply wanted to vent about some legitimate issues ( I feel are legitimate) and provide my opinion. Like I said, this is not necessarily a fan club and I am not gonna say things cause that's what certain people want to hear. I have always been a GM customer and I feel that I am calling a spade a spade. For those of you saying I am whining or crying or think I am here to bash GM, you misinterpreted what I meant in my comments.

I have just joined this forum and don't spend hours a day at the computer, hence the low number of posts. You are incorrect when you say all of my posts are on this thread, I also made a post on Probs/Service to give guys a heads up on the clutch sensor problem that started this whole thing.

Unfortunately when one is behind a key board and a monitor . . . emotions / feelings / expressions get lost . . .

Yes we all are passionate about our cars.

I am very die hard to GM.

I think we've beaten Scrivs up enough . . . group hug now!

Sorry guys/gals if I got under your skin. I know some people are really protective of their beliefs and cars. Didn't realize I was hitting sore spots. Wasn't intentional, supposed to be more a debate then anything personal

I'll tone er down a hair
