Performance seat

Has anyone ordered an SS with the performance driver's seat? What is the difference between that and a regular seat? Which is more comfortable? I know it's an extra $95.00.

for an extra $95 you get the performance seats which make you go faster when you sitting in the car it's rated at about 3hp to the cheeks!

It has larger bolsters on the side of the sitting area.

I didn't notice a difference in the bolsters but the seat bottom is larger extending underneath the thighs farther. It is visually larger when compared to the passenger side.

Does anyone have a picture of the performance seat? My internet picture search has been fruitless so far...

Ask and you shall receive. It was in an SS at the local dealer and when he pointed out it had a performance seat, I took a picture. This was taken 1/15/08...and it definitely felt different than the stock HHR seat.

It has more support in the rib and thigh areas.
Not thread related, but, the leather(?) boot on the gear shift makes the auto look like a manual, from a glance.

that's a black interior BTW. the flash kind of lit up everything in the shot.
There are no gray interior options for the SS. the closest you can get to gray interior is ordering the ebony with gray inserts...

Thanks all for your help. I actually got to try out a performance seat, and like it much better than the stock seat. Kind of dumb not to include one for the passenger as well.
