Yikes yeah that was rough. How long were they on the Car?

The B&G's rested against each other but when I took them out you couldnt really see any damage to the powder coat./paint etc.

Not long. Pedders sent me a full replacement set. The rears they sent me were some kind of prototype. They work well with no noise. I think because they have one less coil wrap that leaves more coil spacing.
I still have the extra new front springs(Pedders didn't care if I returned the old ones, so I kept them).

Hmm and to correct the issue they sent you springs that had more space between the coils, so they were not dead or touching or binding! ok that contradicts the touching coil rebound and compression theory of a dead coil check this out...

Been on these springs for a few weeks now. I'm getting a binding spring noise coming from the front. it's enough to warrant me not to be happy with them. It rides good and much better but just turning the wheel yields the binding sound.

I noticed that already the front springs are loosing their powder coat where the coils are resting on each other. I knew the backs would do this but the fronts is news to me.

I've emailed them asking for assistance as everything is new (Struts, Mounts, Bushings etc) And the sound Im getting is clearly the springs binding in the strut.

Ah, dead coils or coil bind, either term can be used! When the steel hits, the ride is the 5h1t5

Just to update everyone. I've still been working with John on the binding noise in the front.

They sent me some wrap material to put on the front coils but sadly it does not stay on and just causes it to make more noise. I've emailed them back again. At this point I'm ready to get another spring. The ride is great but the noise is not. He keeps telling me over and over that no one else is complaining and even his own vehicle doesn't do this so i'm guessing these springs are defective or something. Really aggravated

I think I'll go w/ the Pedder's springs. Any alignment issues at all? Do I need special bolts or hardware to get the camber within spec?

Not sure about pedders but with B&G and the YYZ's I just took it to the alignment shop. Nothing extra needed
