I picked up a new to me low mileage 08 SS a few weeks back and just spent 2 weekends cleaning the interior. Previous owner was a elderly lady that did dog fostering so dog hair was everywhere.

To make a long story short the question - did GM stop putting front seat rear track covers on the SS?

I have them on my 06 but after cleaning the 08 i noticed that they are no covers.

 

Here are the track covers that I stole from my 06 LS to put on the 08 SS passenger side. A much cleaner look if you ask me. I can not transfer the driver side b/c the 08 is a power seat and the 06 is a manual seat.

 

Got part numbers? Maybe Wreck has a set on the parts car

I may pull them off after work and run the parts number thur gmpartsdirect to see what turns up. I did not even think to do that until you said "part numbers."

Getting old suxs

 

I remember seeing a couple of threads about them. IIRC, yes they discontinued the part.

 

I can live without them.

 

pulled the covers off last night and did the parts search... nothing. It's not the end of the world but I'll add this to my list of stuff to look for when i'm at a "pull-a-part"
