2010 SS w/53k miles. I was a little curious to see what the fuel pressure showed before start up. Car has been sitting about a week.
Got in, turned the key to on (didn't start it) and waited about 15 secs for the RPD to boot up.
A quick, fuzzy photo shows it at 72 psi. I've heard various numbers of what the fuel pressure should show from the in tank pump. I guess this shows me what I needed to see.
Not having any issues. Just thought it was interesting.

 

I’m just jealous my LS doesn’t have that feature, I done had to get the hood open, hook up the fuel pressure test gauge, a little smelly gasoline squirt. And at start up it read 23lbs. Running at 48 lbs.
definitely needed replacement.
Need one reads spot on the specs.
