When I had mine done it took 45 minutes. Of course maybe that is why the wiring job was done pretty sloppy and I had to have that fixed recently.

got a number on those guys, my dealer in danbury dosn`t even call me back on the subject!

They have probally never done one and are covering there ass for time , To learn on your dime..... 1 hour install.

I had Balise Chevy in Springfield do mine, was cheaper than Gengras and 0 problems.

Cheaper? I bought the GMTU from crateenginedepot and Gengras charged me for 1 hour's labor even though the tech took closer to 2. No problems since day one AND since the OP is in the Danbury area it's MUCH closer if service is needed. Just my .02.

Mine was done by a dealer in CT. as well, not sure which but when I get home, I'll scan and post the receipt if possible. Previous owner kept all the records for me, how nice of them :)

if memory serves me correct it cost you around $185 for the install. Mine was $100.

I was not including the cost of the upgrade itself because I brought my own also.

It all boils down to which one is closer.

But its nice to know that there are 2 dealers in the area that have done flawless installs.
