Well, after much procrastinating I decided to go for it. Ordered stock from CED. Got the loaner tool from Autozone. It went much easier than I expected, glad I did it myself. Car feels much better without a completely blown one on one corner. Now I'm feeling like maybe I should do the rears too....

Heck yeah. Do the rears since they're just shocks. 20 minute job.

Dan at Crate Engine Depot can hook you up wit the right stuff (OEM).

I put mine on last fall @ 75,000 miles - Money and time well spent.
Considering the limited ammount of HHR SS's I would assume most aftermarket places wont touch producing SS specific parts, so stock is the easy way to go.
