Does this procedure work on a 2011 1LT rental model?

Thanks

I got my parts today and guess what, the cover(bezel) is the wrong color. I got a dark grey cover(pt#25812392) and I need a silver one. I have read through major portions, if not all, of this thread and just can't seem to find a part number for the silver cover. Does anyone have the part number for the silver cover? Or.... does anyone have a silver cover for sale or have a silver cover and need a dark grey cover and want to trade. I'll pay shipping both ways.

Yes, just did this to my 2011. Took about 45 minutes because I took everything apart to route the harness properly.

Overall very easy to do because of the great instructions on this thread.

I just did the radio button in the steering wheel upgrade today. Did not take that long. (actually swapped the complete wheel with a Cobalt one) What a fantastic upgrade.

This sight is a wealth of info for these cars. Thanks to all that have contributed!

So many part numbers in this thread...
So far I have determined I need GM 25816515 (Harness) GM 25862239 (Raised buttons) and GM 25812392 (charcoal color cover). Is this all correct? Dont want to mess up! Thanks.
