You are misinformed. The TPM sensors are inside the tires attached to the valve stems. The receiver is under the headliner near the mirror.
There are wheel speed sensors in the hubs, they get wet whenever it rains.

Gotcha. If it comes on again I’ll just swap the tires to see if it comes on for the passenger side. The tire place said the TPS was ok.

Have you ever reset the TPM positions in the DIC? 2010 needs a special tool, most tire stores are clueless.

The procedure to relearn the TPMS is in your owners manual, Links in Donbrew’s signature for online version.

Never been successful with the procedure in the manual, and it’s a PITA anyway. My tire dealer used to screw it up but have gotten better. Best luck is to take it to my Chevy dealer. They do it in about a minute, no charge.

Probably because many 2010 all 2011 needs the tool, not the release procedure.

Well it's been several days and few hundred miles and not saying there's cause and effect - maybe just coincidence - but the TPMS light hasn't come back on. If it does, I'll explore the other avenues, but for now, all's good.

So this kit graphs the lines in just under the driver's seat. Has anyone had problems with the fittings provided? The fittings provided fit the hard lines perfectly that I cut under the vehicle. But trying to insert the tubing in the kit into the fittings provided in the kit was a no-go. The hose was slightly larger than the whole in the nut and the nylon feral provided. Had to improvise but just wondering if anyone else came across this.

Never used that style kit, I went engine to fuel tank as the lines were rusty up under the footwell brake pedal area that clamp the lines weren’t to healthy looking!
