OK, since this thread has been upped, has anyone ever ridden in the back seat after this mod? I have no desire to do this to mine but was just wondering. The ride must be quite boring and a bit claustrophobic?

Thats exactly why we want to install the back seat, our daughter will then be able to go with on these G2G...maybe...she really doesn't seem to interested tho. On the other hand www.car-part.com is asking that I give them a VIN #, "We understand you want parts from another vehicle in order to add them to your vehicle which did not come with this type of part or option

We will need a VIN number FROM the vehicle you need the parts FROM!

(**NOT YOUR VEHICLES VIN**).

Without this VIN number we will not be able to determine the correct part number you need.

Most of our customers in the past have found a vehicle either at their local gm dealer or have a friend and have supplied us the VIN number from the vehicle they wanted the parts for. We will help you in any way possible but we need a good VIN for the parts you want." Heck all I was asking for was a price

There are plenty on ebay with the vin showing, just find one with your color of interior.

I guess for young kids it would be OK, kind of like a "fort". Just hope you don't drive past something cool that they want to see.

I prefer not to ride in the back. Comfy, but I get carsick easy. The only other thing is that we don't have a pull to close the back doors, so someone needs to shut it for you.

We did this mod to our Panel first thing using black leather. It is a great mod for us since the seats lay flat and we dont really lose any cargo space but, can have passengers. We use em all the time with passengers. I rode back seat the other day with it and it was kinda creepy. "Creepy" in the sense that it is hard to see anything. Sort of like being on an airplane with the blinds pulled shut. The ride was comfy considering the space though. Our only drawbacks would be, the lack of handles inside and out (but well worth it overall). Remember the first time you were led into a bedroom blindfolded and all the suspense??? Well, it's kinda like that!
