Thanks for the write up. This was way easy and if I have to do nothing else it will be awsome. The thing that took the most time was the removal and replacement of the air box.

Mine didn't come with any such instructions and looked exactly like the new one posted here.

Okay, worst case would be the piston falling into the engine...how hard is it to get it back out? How far can it go and could you get it with a magnet through the hole?

You have to pull the timing chain cover off, which include taking the harmonic balancer off (a minor pain to get back on and needs a new bolt).

The trick to getting the old one out is basic slowly gently.

This is what happens when you let it go to long. The fixed tensioner came out in about 10 pieces.

question..........at he tipof the tensioner is a slot....how do you get that slot to orientate itself over the bracket inside he engine..?? does it self align, somehow...???
