New Owner in Upstate SC

Hello to all, I've been browsing the forum on and off ever since I bought my first vehicle, a used 2011 silver Chevy HHR LS(obviously :p). It is a FlexFuel ex-rental with 35,000 miles on it and I can't wait to chrome it out!

This isn't too important but since I'm a first time buyer I was wondering if the members can tell me if I got a good deal on it: 2,000 down & 3.49% @ 268.00/mo/72 mo Initial price was 15,000 and around 19,000 is getting financed. The finance lady said she never seen anyone my age(25) with little credit get such a good deal. But I looked at edmunds and they are priced at only 13,000. Also, they told me that E85 burns 40% faster than regular gasoline, so less gas for my money but I still think local green fuel is cool and most gas nowadays already has about 10% ethanol in it. I've been looking for E85 pumps in my area but don't see any. Weren't they around more during the Bush administration?

any car salesman will tell you the best deal is the one you leave with....all kidding aside, you did alright...my payment was $267 for 6 years on my first HHR 2lt...had 34,XXX miles on it, and most options...so your numbers are almost identical to my old ones..

and welcome to the forum...
this site is loaded with chrome/polished stainless accessorieshttp://hhrboutique.com/

and in theory the gas may burn faster but it will give you more power than regular gas, and more low end acceleration which will kinda boost the fuel economy. its pretty much a fair trade off IMO

Thanks for the welcome, I'd forgotten that ethanol is supposed to give the engine a boost so it is a decent tradeoff...
