Lived in So California since 1954 grew up in an era when Cruzin was cool. Wednsday, Friday and Saturday nights were started by Cruzin up and down Van Nuys Blvd. Today Cruising is illegal just about everywhere I knew of in SoCal.
I have met a couple of very helpfiul and informative People on this Fourm; Vinny got me pointed in the right direction (gotta checkout the pics of his 09' SS Panel), and Sindy bailed me out when my computer failed me! Thanks to bopth of you!

Am looking forward to our first HHR meeting / show.

Welcome from another SoCal HHR. I remember it too, we did Whittier Blvd for years before they closed it down. I know Vin too, got my SS wheels from him and yes his panel is very sweet.

Great plans for the new build you two are doing, its going to look killer. Check the threads for our g2g's. There is one in the San Diego area 4/26, looking forward to meeting you guys and check the car out. Dont forget to post pics.

 

I can still remember cruising Main Street here in SanTana with my brother in his gunmetal silver Impala back in the 70's.

Now I just cruise it to get to work!
