There are also alarms with pagers and special key fobs to alert you. It's not that uncommon to have an alarm that pages you. My first step dad had one on his El Camino back in the day that had no external alarm like a siren or horn but it would send the signal to a special pager. Why? Just because he was bad ass and wanted to catch the person in the act so he could kick the crap out of whoever was breaking into his car.

so it slipped out of her pocket onto the toilet paper dispenser?! who cares...really. if your car was left outside running in front of the mall, i would get it towed since i work for my city council and know its against the law for your car to be parked in that position.
