Have a bit more info on the fatal balloon crash we talked about the other day, they have recovered all of the envelope now, and apparently the pilot was in contact with his chase crew until the moment of impact. The estimated speed of the basket was in excess of 110 mph when it struck the ground, what a way to go huh?

There are some still photos taken by the skydivers as they were in free fall and under silk, but no footage of the terminal descent. He had a reputation as a real "hot dogger"(landing in friend's yards and very restrictive areas),I know you said you met him at a seminar/training deal, how'd he strike you?
