Close enough to see the lights at night, but far enough away that its nice and quiet here.
Its really only 20 miles as the crow flies, but 2+ hours away in Monday morning traffic if you know what I mean?

The closest I've been to your part of the country was for 19 months from '56 to '58 at Fort Gordon, Georgia. In the Army, don't ch'ya know?
