Electronic Techs | LCD TV fades to black sporadically
My LDC TV is being picked up for service tomorrow.
Although this You Tube video is not my TV, this is exactly what mine is doing.

Do any of you electronic Guru's out there know what the problem could be?

I had this problem with the LCD TV in the bedroom of my motorhome. It sometimes looked very dark in segments or sometimes the entire screen altogether. I bought a new LCD TV and installed it, only to find that the new unit had the same problem. I started looking into the electrical system of the coach. Then I found that the input voltage was low at the receptacle due to a deteriorating connection. I fixed the connection and the original LCD TV is working fine now. I like the original TV, because I have a matching one in the living room (same remotes, etc).
Expensive diagnosis because I now have a brand new unit, in the box doing nothing.
