Hello all,

We are putting our new line of car horns on the website and have encountered a technical problem. All of these horns have audio available so our customers know what they are getting.

The technical problem is that the ".au" audio files (which we have learned are Unix audio) are blocked from our website server. We need to know how to convert these Unix audio files into ".wav" files which are not blocked. Anyone know of a way to make the conversion?

Thanks, I did a google search before but not the way you put it. I think I found some software that will work.

Most audio editing software allows you to save an open file you wish to transfer into the desired file format, i.e. wave mp3 that you want It saved as. I’m not sure what software you’re using to write your downloadable files to external devices. Meaning when you have a song copied onto your hard drive from a cd, and you now want this song saved to a new writable cd or saved to a flash memory card for your mobile phone, or mp3 player. So I’m sure you already have these files saved so open your software to write this back to an external device and you should see where you can now convert and save it in the file format you want. Let me know if I can be of more help, there are free programs you can download to edit these files.
