Thats' Great for your first week you don't want anything huge cause your body will plato easy if you drop too fast. Great job just remember better to have lost 4 pounds then to have gained

Wink Good Luck!!!!!

Did any of you measure yourselves??? There may be weeks where you lose more inches than pounds. And not just you waist and hips...
Several years ago , I changed my eating habits and lost 173 lbs. And was still about 40 pounds from my chart weight. I have gained about 65 pounds back....but I don't watch what I eat. I guess what I am trying to say is.it is not just weight loss...but a change in eating habits for the rest of your life.
Another thing that I did...was for every pound I lost I donated food to a food pantry, also figured a way to donate for the inches I lost too... It was fun when I took the food in finally.
Good LUCK TO YOU ALL

Good for you sweetmama. Yup, it could be in inches. If you didn't have much fat to lose you could actually gain weight as muscle weighs more than fat. The thing is to know your own body And yes this is a rest of your life thing.

Well, no significant weight loss yet. Of course, we all know men lose more at the beginning then women.

I did however get a physical and a ton of blood work. Seems I'm headed for type 2 diabetes. I did find out the Synthroid I've been taking since half my thyroid was removed can cause increased blood sugar. I also found out that alcohol can lower blood sugar. Really! Check webmd.com. Somebody pour me a beer!

Another shocker was that Healthy Choice, Smart Ones, and Lean Cuisine meals are not that healthy for you. She said there's still too much fat, carbohydrates, and sodium in these meals. Here, I thought I was doing the right thing!

So, if you don't see me on here as often, I'm probably out exercising. I love competing in sports. I hate exercising!
