This should be an interesting Christmas, my youngest daughter gets her tonsils out on the 24th. I will be taking the week off to care for her. She was the one who picked the date so that she would not miss school. She's 12 and a straight A student. She's pretty special. With both my parents gone now and the wife's living in Texas, we pretty much stick to our core unit. Will be pretty mellow I think.

Be sure to have lots of soup, jello, and ice cream!!! From what I remember I slept alot and didn't feel like eating much. That was 20+ years ago.

The four of us will be escaping the cold and "GOING TO DISNEY LAND". As the kids are getting older, this will probably be one of the last major trips together, before they think family trips are dumb.

But we are all looking forward to see what the Magical Kingdom has to offer for New Years.

Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season.

We're opening presents on Christmas Eve, then flying out to Arizona on Christmas Day for a weeklong holiday in the southwest ... with my in-laws (parents and brother). We're flying to Phoenix, then driving to LA to do the tourist thing, one day at Knotts and two at Disney (might see you there, thirdgenz, and maybe hopefully our mutual friend mitzkitty as well), driving back on our wedding anniversary, spending one full day in the in-laws' hometown (Sierra Vista, AZ), then flying back to Buffalo on NY Eve.

Fun, fun fun.

Well, we have new plans for New Years now. Our friends that we were going to spend it with have recently separated so we ended up cancelling our reservations and will now spend a quiet night at home alone
