I'm wrecked and so is the Paddy-Wagon.
Thanks for the well wishes everybody, I've been threatened with having my crutches hidden if I don't get on and off the computer darn quick, so I'll make this fast before my wife renders me immobile.
I'm a hurtin' puppy right now, my leg is killing me, and my head feels like Keith Moon has come back to practice drum solo's between my ears. I don't honestly know if my injuries came from the initial impact or the subsequent 2 1/2 times that Paddy spun around before coming to a rest(I did have my seat-belt on of course). Luckily for Paddy the impact was almost centered on the left rear wheel, still going to need a new quarter panel, rear axle, wheel, door, and bumper though....plus the driver's side window and inner door panel which I broke with my now more than a little dented body.
I'll get the police report on Tuesday, but being that the person who ran the light and collected me was last seen blowing into a breathalyzer, I don't think their insurance will have any issues paying my bills...well assuming the twerp was insured.
So that's all for now, she's reaching for the crutches, talk to y'all tomorrow after I get some more rest.

Good Luck on your recovery Mike.
Thats what is important now.
Only time will tell what the total damages are.
We will be waiting and watching for the reports of your progress.
Just hope it is quick and without too much pain.

From one John to another I'm truly sorry for your pain all the way around, specially this time of year. You and Paddy will be in my thoughts and prayers man. Let's hope the other guy is not only insured but legal in this land of ours, you never know any more.
Mike my heart goes out to you, in 1956 I bought a Porsche Speedster 18 month waiting list, had it 2 weeks a drunk hit me almost headon at the last second turned a left turn was hit the right front wheel and pushed the wheel and seat as far back as it would go, took 2 people over 3 months to repair, repair cost was more than the purchase price as could not get a new one for over a year. Im glad I was alone in the car, Mike get well soon we need you, try to enjoy theHolidays and be glad it could have been worse.
Mike, Now you need to follow instructions for a while, do what the lovely Michelle tells you too. Take your smartphone with you in case you need to catch a quick laugh at the scratchpad. Them are da Doctors orders, really get some rest, your body has been in a demolition derby. You may need the extra strength tomorrow. Rest up buddy
