NASCAR: Toyota falling on its face?
Yep, Nascar is more of a rolling billboard than a race series.
This particular style (if you will) has sold itself out, a lot of "We America`s Biggest Sport" sorta stuff.
I think there`s a car for each branch of the armed forces, ironically, a bunch of draft ( if there were one ) aged drivers claiming to be supporting the troops by driving around a track. And guess who really pays when the sponsor is gov. related, you got it, Tax Payers.

OK I aggree with you on this one, they really are going way too far when they are in fact giving advertising monopolies to certain portions of the sport. One article said they are forcing car owners to compete with NASCAR for sponsors. Maybe At&T's lawsuit will settle this.
Did you folks read this story about AT&T and NASCAR, sorry, but I feel this NASCAR thing is really getting out of hand, racing started out as free enterprise, now it is who has the most money and can scream the loudest.(Threaten). NASCAR needs to remember what made them NASCAR, (Competetion). Banning a sponsor is going to be the axe to them if not careful.

I totally agree with the AT&T lawsuit. That's a load of crap not being able to use this sponsor or that sponsor because it is in competition with the "Official Sponsors" of NASCAR. If these sponsors are so scared of the competition advertising, how do they stay in business. NASCAR better be careful or they are going to start having teams leave because they can't secure sponsorship. Give me a break NASCAR!!!
Was watching the race today, they were commenting on the Motorola issue a little. Said they went to a portable radio product they sold, but Robby still had the big M on the hood...I'm surprised Richard Childress would stand for much more of this nonsense.
