Well look what followed me home......
I'm interested in how well the R/T runs after its loosened up and broken in fully, right now its all of 56 miles old. It does pound you back in the seat, but I'm going to give it a nice sympathetic break in before giving in to the impulse to bury the throttle.
If I need a dose of V-8 thunder and a complimentary neck adjustment all I need to do is get the SS out and hammer it. I'd say that they may be very close if I were to put "modern" tires on the '67, right now it will happily convert the bias ply redline reproductions into clouds of smoke. Its a real challenge to get the power down in the SS, if you're rolling slowly and and then get into it you'd better hold on, but from a standing start on the current tires I can be outrun by a Hoveround mobility chair when the tires refuse to hook up.

We have three stalls each two cars deep(they run the depth of the building from front to rear), one stall came with the condo and I rent the other two from residents who don't use them. It works but I'm looking to pick up a plot of land and build a garage proper for the herd someday. Right now the Spousemobile and the Honda Del Sol live outside, the '37 and the '67 may be going on display at a local car museum during the Summer.
I was just curious as to where you kept your cars at, knowing that you have said on here that you guys lived in a condo, which condos around here have tiny, barely fit 2 cars in the garages attached to them.
We really looked hard for a condo with lots of room for parking either inside or outside, stumbled on our current place by word of mouth, it wasn't even listed. I have problems getting rid of cars once I get them, so they accumulate, Michelle calls me Imelda Marcos Jr. when it comes to vehicles. Another option is to take the '37, '67 and the Del Sol up to PA and tuck them away in storage at my Uncle's farm.
