they are dirt cheap at Rock auto. easy to replace,just dump all your stuff in the glove box and slide the new filter in behind it.

They are a rip off $$ for what your getting. just because it is specialized does not mean they have to cost twice what a giant filter for my house does.

They are great for what they do, and most folks do not even know they exist.
Just have to find a good one but not over priced.

Last one I got at local auto supply was higher than the year before.???
I will try online this year.

I purchased a washable K&N filter, works great, one time expenditure, good for the life of the HHR. If I had replaced it annually over the 8 years I've owned the car. Cha Ching !! A whole lot more money spent!
