Regarding the cowl trim, butyl patch or ?.

I have a question regarding this issue. I have a 2010, and I noticed that the front passenger side had previous floor mildew and a faint odor of mildew. Then, last night I went to wash it in the brushless car wash, what do I see? about 2 tablespoons of water dripping into the passenger compartment on the left side behind the glove compartment.
However, everything here says that it's only 06-07 models. Does anyone in the later model years have the issue or is it another issue altogether?

So, I just posted in the other thread for this same issue. I'm now even more confuddled than ever. I don't understand what's going on here. Does anyone who has a 2010-2011 model have the rain leak into the cabin like mine? I wonder if the same occurs for others now that these are a decade old? Is it possible that it's just the drain holes that need cleaning, or is there something I missed in other threads that would be more of an indicator regarding the fresh water leakage under the glove box?

There is an oblong piece of plastic on that side , like a drain , you can get to it by removing the wiper blades , then the cowl cover and look down, right at the firewall see if it is clogged up with leaves, debris or anything.
fastsuv and I spotted this when working on Oldblue a week or two ago.

Pull the cabin filter and see if it's soaking wet. If it's not, then the leak is something like a clogged drain as Don and Oldblue suggested.
2 other places it could leak. Windshield seal. Wiring grommet at the front door pillar.
