Bad choice. As soon as the cold weather happened last fall one by one they all died. Old stock, weak batteries. You get what you pay for.

Tpms

In my area the sensors are 45.00 and on up at tire stores.
I ordered new sensors from Ebay….everything worked fine…but batteries didnt last to long….sensors died….ordered another set…same thing. So figure laying on shelf for years…so….I changed the batteries….turns out if you boil the sensor for 10-15 mins…..the epoxy compound softens up and you can remove it and get to the battery. I used the 2032 batteries.
After checking them….I sealed them with silicon

I had bought some aftermarket sensors on Amazon a couple years ago when I bought new tires. . Two of the 4 didn't read when I had tires replaced. I got ahold of the company and *****ed. I only asked for 2 replacements but they ended up sending me another set of 4. Cost me $20 each to have them replaced. Since then I have had to use the 2 extra because of failures. Another $20 per tire. Now I seen I have another one fail. Going to order GM this time. One suggestion the vendor service told me was to program the sensors before you install them to verify they work. I just sat one on each corner of the HHR and scanned with tool. The horn honked although zero on display, but that worked.

Shelf life of batteries is about 10 years. So, if they were put in the box 10 years ago they are probably dead.
