tube drain from sunroof

I owe 2006 HHR LX. I have notice the water got into my driver side floor during heavy thunderstorm. I had to replace the carpet cause of mold and mildew under the carpet. I clean the tube out and any suggestion to prevent the problems. Thank.

Your posting is kinda poorly written, so I am not sure if you got the problem resolved, or are looking for more info.

If you resolved it by cleaning out the drain tubes, then you more or less answered your own question - keep the drains clean.

But, if you need more info perhaps these links will help:

Often water leaks are caused by these two problems:
Butyl patch:

Being that it's a 2006(LS? I assume LX is a typo) I would definitely check for the Butyl patch.
