Wiper linkage bushing

Couldn't find anything on here so I figured I would ask if anyone has had to replace their wiper linkage bushings? I have a bad one and the linkage keeps falling off of the wiper arm itself. Just wondered if Autozone or someone would carry them or if it was dealer only or if you have to buy the whole assembly.

"Wiper linkage" in the search box returns a how to among other threads.

I saw those but they don't answer my question of the actual bushing that connects the linkage to the wiper arm. The bushing broke and the linkage falls off of the arm when you turn it on, other than that my linkage works fine. I'm just asking if anyone has a part number or where to get a new bushing.

Like that? Specifically post #27.

Or, this? Post #3.

Some reading still required.

Seems to me when I read that thread or one of the others a long time ago, that it starts out with a story about trying to buy just the bushing. GM is happy to sell the entire assembly, but not bits of it. (I must have read it somewhere).

Titles of threads don't always tell you everything that's in the thread.

If you are looking for the GM part number, you can try the dealer or any of the online GM parts suppliers. The Dorman part didn't appear to work that well as per Donbrews thread he posted for you.

That got it, thank you. The Dorman number should work. I've seen those online but didn't know what number would work with ours.
