Would it be possible to make the antenna light up on the end. You know like that little fish that guides with its antenna, lol?
Not sure if you could run power thru the antenna or not.
Any suggestions? Ideas?

Yes it would be possible, you'd need to modify the antenna, but sneaking some wires up to it would just mean following the antenna lead up. Its an interesting idea, wonder if there isn't some kind of aftermarket antenna like that already?

Mine reminded me of a fly rod. stubbyantenna.com might be some one to ask about the lighted one. Is this the critter you were thinking of ??

You may have to modify the grille if you are going for this look..

If one were electronically savvy an LED could be installed at the tip of the antenna...... There may be a "kit" for this, I wouldn't know. I'm thinking along the lines of LED/resistor/wire with a touch of solder and shrink wrap.......

Thanks for the great ideas and suggestions. My idea was to wrap the wire along/around the length of antenna with LED light on the end. Then wrap with carbon fiber film (Pep Boys have a tape instead of the sheet) to hide the wire.

And the fish I was thinking of was similar but not so scary, lol! I am thinking of my kids Donkey Kong games when they were little and the little fish came and helped them swim thru the dark part.
