FINALLY, I Bought Em!
This helps if you imagine it being said by Captain Kirk in a overly dramatic moment.
I Just Can't Fight The Pun Anymore Spock....It Looks Fintastic!
Puns aside, it really does look great A&P, as always the epitome of cool.

Another reason to be selling off the woodshop, the real deal is sitting in my Moms garage, would be alot easier to work on it more often with it starin me down every time I walked outside. Havin to plan to take the day, and drive on over to tinker on her don't happen as often as I'd like lately.
Also getting my little Panel has sidetracked me a lil bit since July of 2010, thats been FUN , but I admit it has stalled the '55 restoration some.
My Mom is getting up there in age, gotta get my garage cleared out of tools I had planned on using, but never really got around to it.
There will come a day, I'll have to bring the '55 home here. Mom likes the visits when I do stop by, but they turn into visits talking old times. And little work on the '55.
One last big project to go on my Panel and I will be going into high gear on Finishing the '55 Chevy up.
Just 2 close up Profile shots. Inner and Outer.

Last night Early this AM, was taking a pic in front of this old ice house and a HHRSS passed by and did a U turn, he Liked my "55 Chevy HHR Tail Lights, and was thinking of getting a Kit for his SS. I quickly took a pic of both our HHR's.

Along this line I saw a 2009 HHR setting on a car lot today with a silver toned fanned vinyl graphic side stripe to replicate the Bel Air look. At the rear edge were raised "CLASSIC" chrome letters in 50's script with a bow tie similar to the Chevrolets of that period. Had I been quicker on my toes would have snapped a pic as I stopped to inquire about this vehicle as it is advertised as a HHR Classic in it's windshield. After inspection and further conversation the lot owner admitted it was prob an aftermarket add-on; but knew nothing else about the stripes history. If I had to venture a guess, would be inclined to think this was a commercial kit more than a one off. Are these common and I'm just looking in the wrong place? Below is a Bel Air that show the feature replicated in the decal that I speak.
