Headlight control

Sure, DRL's save lives. No doubt the insurance industry wants us to know that. Lower risk equals more profit. Hell, if it was up to your insurance company,
you'd be driving around in a bright, rubber bubble. And, like clock work, every month, you would STILL receive a bill for your premium. By the way, what the
heck IS a "premium", anyway?
And in regard to controlling headlights, it's really not a rebel thing. The lights go on/off willy-nilly at the slightest provocation it seems. I really don't want to
be swapping out headlamps on a regular basis.
And here's another thing I'm going to do: cut into the automatic door looks. That constant clacking is irritating (and also a point for premature wear).
Stay tuned... I'll let you know how it all works out.

Maybe you should stick with cars built before 1962.

Next I need to know how to deactivate the ABS because I hate that noise they make when I go into a skid on ice.
What's with the seatbelt light & chime anyway? I don't use the belts anyway.
Why should I have to depress the brake pedal to put the trans into gear?
What if I want the doors to open when roll the car?
What if I want to invite carjackers in?
The airbags are just another thing to fix after they deploy, they never saved MY life.
That third brake light is annoying, it cuts an inch off the top of my rearview.
I really don't need any tread on my tires, why the wear indicators?
I'll put as much air into the tires as I want, thank you.

The only thing I find objectionable about the automatic headlight function (not DRL's) is that the ambient light sensor always seems to be in a shadow created by the wiper blades, and thus, the headlights are on unnecessarily in good light conditions. It is not a crucial flaw as far as I am concerned since the DRL's are simply the headlights operating at a reduced voltage.

Real funny, Don (actually I did laugh).
