Wow Mike... Didn't think the Bijou was quite ready for pin-up material! My wife will be quite pleased as she did the majority of the winter coat paint job while I was working on my all-time favorite thing... Automotive lighting/wiring ... LOL

She did a very nice job.

It's really coming together now, hence the impending Winter withdrawals.

Lighting and wiring huh, my back is aching at the thought of all the hours I've spent inverted under various dashboards over the years.

So many car stereos, so many CB's, so many 6x9 speakers on parcel shelves, it's no wonder that I wince when I hear the name Kenwood.

Thanks Oldblue! The color isn't exactly what I will put on the finished project, but it's kinda close.

Looks great. I just noticed there are no door handles. How do you open the doors?

He uses a remote entry thing to open the doors.

You just poke a button on the remote and the door will pop open.

Thanks guys!

There's actually still a driver side door handle, it's just custom made to sit flush with the body. At the moment I just pop the doors open from the inside for my passengers. Come spring I will put remote poppers and solenoids on it.

Poppers and solenoids, very "old school" Ben, and quite in keeping with the Bijou's raison d'être.

Yes it is Mike. I was going to do completely shaved, but I thought I better at least leave one outside handle that could open it by key.... Just to be on the safe side.
