A how to? Really? Have you looked at the lenses? Its SIMPLE!

All you need is a small flat head screwdriver, look at the lens and you can see where you need to put the screwdriver in order to pop the lens cover off.

They pop right off.

Takes all of 3 minutes to do ALL the interior lights.

I hate to go necro posting but I'm a bit confused on what I need. I've got an 09 HHR. OSRAM says I need 212-2 or 2825 for map light (how many??) and 578 for dome (again, how many??)

Does anyone have part #'s from superbrightleds.com??

Yes. Not sure what one you are referring to, but it's been covered in the How To Guides section -

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/led-mod-radio-hvac-i-p-step-step-tutorial-2006-2008-a-22174/
and https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...t=21356&page=4 has some good reading as well.

How many? Look at your light clusters, and count the bulbs.

Superbrightleds.com has a bulb number cross-reference list at their web site. Just punch in the bulb number in the SEARCH at the top of the page.

i tried using some of the square led light things from autozone, they looked awsome at night. but they never fully went off. you could turn the car off and about half of the lights would stay on but they were very dim

Dont buy the reverse lights from them. Was very happy with all my leds, but the reverse led bulbs are not shaped properly for the hhr socket. They don't click in and will fall out first bump you hit. Had to tear my tails apparatus to get them back out.
