cause i didnt want my truck down that long.. so i bought a used crate motor and overhauled it..

As of right now Im going top dig up my old 355 block, I really want to build a 383 stroker always been a fan and wanted one in my Chevelle.

I like the 383 stroker motor. Great Torque and a good truck motor for low power band and pulling stuff. But for what youll spend on the rotating assembly I just put my money towards good heads and saved a little on the 355. Let me know if you have any questions when you get ready to do it.. If you lived closer I'd get you hooked up with a complete motor.. We've got all the machines to do it ourselves (hones, boring bar, surfacer, 3 angle valve jobs, ect)

Well I lucked out on the motor that came in the truck and it has some pricey 202 camel hump heads. I have a few people that want them one guy offered me 1300.00 for them. I have built 3 engines in my day so I have access to all the tools i need to stroke the motor i have.

1300 for some double humps.. thats nuts. you can get em way cheaper. so if someone is willing to pay that, sell em. buy ya some dart or brodix heads with that kinda money..
