ya i came across those posts too, was hoping to see the pictures but they say the have been deleted have to at this blindly i guess haha but thanks guys

I believe that the R&R of the assembly has been covered pretty robustly on the forum. I just got back from an 800 mile day, so I'm not going to invest time in the search. You just remove the console an remove the 4 bolts (nuts) being careful of the semi-captured nuts (bolts).

Thanks for all the help guys! I bought a used 2009 shifter and will tackle the replacement this weekend. There was another site which shows pictures of the swap in my first post. This forum removed some of the letters on that link though. Should be no problem. Thanks again!
