Your still under warranty so I would get whatever needs to be done fixed now under warranty. As annoying as it is, keep in mind its a GM vehicle and they really dont......how should I put this.......they really dont hold up well at high miles. Not saying they are crap....but they just dont stay together well.Thats why their resale value is in the toilet. My 09 HHR/SS is going to be worth crap in 4-5 years and thats when I am going to trade in for a new car, maybe sooner. I have had GM's all my life as well as worked for them all my life. Longevity is not thier strongest point. I love my SS for driveablity and fun factor but the SS is not worth anywhere near the sticker price. My next vehicle will not be a GM.I have had enough of cars that lose half their value at trade in and crappy service departments. My SS has had 5 radios replaced, the headliner is falling down(the part is backordered),the tranny is slipping at only 9000 miles, the remote start works3-4 times of 10 attempts and they cant fix it.......

What day of the week was yours built?

Anyone remember that old phrase? Built on Monday or Friday...do not buy it!

Built on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday... good car buy it!

Mine was built on a Wednesday.... Ha!

No snow in Florida

After reading the above posts there is one common thing (cold climate). The HHR hates cold weather. The human body doesn't even do that well in the colder climates. If you love you HHR, sell eveything else, quit your job and move south. That's what I did. My HHR is always smiling cause when the temperature dips into the low 50's it gets to stay home and rest.

Yep, I'd like to do that , But then there's that job thing. Chicago is a good place to be, Its' nice to be one of about 400 in my field of work in a city with millions of poeple. And of those 400, maybe 50 that do the job me and my partner do. And every year that number drops.

My dad lives in dunedin fl. and yep his SS is quiet, no squeeks, or rattles. Uhgh !

If i hit the lotto , My new home would be on a beach.
