I had change appear after the dealer replaced my shifter. It came from the area below the "coin tray" so chances that it was your lost change. The service manager wouldn't know every detail that happens.

My shifter button stuck today.You that have had this problem, was it covered, or what did it cost? MIne is a 2007 with 13500 miles on it.
