Mine broke in the same spot. The hook that holds the spring in place for the wind deflector broke. Mine wasn't plastic, it's made of white metal. Probably cheaper than plastic. They replaced entire sunroof. Now waiting for new weather strip and for them to adjust glass so it doesn't contact metal roof when partially open.

Well, Dory spent the better part of Thursday at the dealer getting the sunroof fixed. The frame for the sunroof was replaced. When I tried opened the roof, while in the service area, the windscreen only popped up maybe half an inch (sorry didn't have camera with me). Showed to service advisor, he tried telling me that Dory was hit with the latest software update and this must be as far up as it should go. When I told him that I wasn't satisfied with that answer, the manager was called over. He said he had never seen a windscreen pop up that little, and had a tech take it to look at. 5 min later, Dory was returned to me with the screen raising to it's normal position.

FYI.........for all you who don't like the screen popping up, it is adjustable! Don't know how, but it is.

Well, it's been several days since the sunroof was fixed, and all appears to be fine. However, the tech who reinstalled the headliner isn't to bright. When he put the sunvisor back on, he did not orientate the part correctly.
Now when I pull the sunvisor down, it pops out of the clip.
Easily fixed as I already have had the sunvisor removed. Nothing major but just annoying.

Glad all of yours were replaced without too much of a hassle. I will be having mine replaced as well. At least its still under warranty, by 250 miles. Went to a dealership while vacationing over the long weekend and have a work order to show that it was turned in before the warranty ran out - had another 600 miles to drive before getting home which would have put me well over the 36,000 miles limit.

Hey Y'all,

this weekend the hook on the passenger side of my windscreen broke. I know have the same problem as some of you guys. It's a real shame, especially because I rarely ever have my sunroof closed and now I have to keep it closed unless I want to force the arm under the sunroof every time I have to close it.

But anyways, I have an appointment on Tuesday to have it looked at. I can't believe that the fix for this is so much work.
