Good morning fellow HHR owners. My 07' would not start this morning, engine would not crank, nothing, it was dead except for the lights on my dash all lit up then turned off. Its as if my battery were dead. On my third attempt and panic setting in, I turned the key and voila, my car started. I bought this car from carmax on Jan. 8th, it has almost 46000miles, purchased it with 45650. I had to take it in two days after purchase because it overheated, they replaced the thermostat and did a proper aligment due to it veering to the right, now this!!!! It sometimes vibrates a bit much (for my taste) at stop lights and at times when coming to a stop I hear a weird knocking noise towards the back of the vehicle or underneath, hard to say where its coming from. Check engine light has NOT come on, no overheating....but what happened this morning has me baffled and very worried. Daughters were late to school and I was late to work!!I tested the car again when i got to work, turned it off pulled they key out of the ignition and waited several minutes to start it up, NO PROBLEMS....I will be taking it in to Carmax for assessment but please, any ideas as to what it may be? I appreciate the help. Dee

 

Possible weak battery.

Ok, so I should have them (carmax repair shop) check the battery life?
