creak or grinding noise

Hi All
I have a 2006 hhr 190 thousand miles with a grinding or creak noise from spring area , that acts up at low speeds when making a right ( mostly right but on occasion left or straight from a compete stop) I had a mechanic replace the lower control bushings both sides but the same noise returned...
I took the car back, he injected lubricant into control arm area, noise returned a few days later and says he has no idea where to go next for repair..
Has anyone on forum had a similar problem and found a solution repair.thanx for any advice

X3. But at 190k miles that may not be the only noise you have. I would do a complete check of the suspension: front and rear.
FWIW. If your mechanic doesn't know where to look next, you should try another mechanic.

Kookie. It's a 2 year old thread. The OP hasn't been here lately, nor did he bother to update us on what he found.
