Noticed my cruise control not working. Indicator light worked but cruise would not set. Read on the forum that led bulbs in CHMSL would cause the problem and I had recently put leds in the third brake light. Put regular bulbs back in and the cruise control now works.

Yup, glad you figured it out. A few people have encountered the same issue. A burnt out bulb or the LEDS will cause the same issue.

Had changed all my exterior light to LEDs. Just wanted the CMSL to be LED also. Oh well I guess I'm stuck with dim old OEM bulbs in 3rd braked light. Don't really want to mess with adding resistors to CHMSL. Glad I had the HHR forum to quickly find out the problem. Thanks all you guys.
